Cookie gets into a grand variety of projects that encompass a grand variety of media. This recent project was so much fun for her that she wants to do more.

This yard oranament belongs to one of Cookie's neighbors. It has a prominent place in the flower bed at the front of his home.
It had a weather worn antique finish on it that was in need of some serious attention when he asked Cookie to paint it.

After white washing the entire statue Cookie set about painting it in realistic colors. It took about a week to complete the art work.
Then two coats of matte finish clear were sprayed on to protect it from the elements and brighten the colors.
